Company Overview

RAM Windows & Doors is a Texas-based manufacturer of premium aluminum window and door systems designed for luxury residential and light commercial construction. For over 40 years, we’ve been trusted by architects, builders, and developers for our custom-engineered product quality, craftsmanship, and responsive service.

Our Curated Collection is a strategic product line designed to serve volume production builders with simplified, cost-effective, turnkey fenestration solutions—preserving the premium aesthetic RAM is known for while enabling fast, repeatable deployment at scale.

About the Role

We are hiring a hunter-minded sales professional to lead expansion of the Curated Collection across major Texas metros. This is a high-visibility role focused on onboarding production builders who construct 50+ homes annually in the $500K–$1M range.

You’ll be responsible for penetrating purchasing departments, navigating procurement processes, and displacing incumbent vendors—all while driving value through RAM’s product, installation, and service model.

This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for a driven builder-focused sales pro who thrives on opening new doors, winning accounts, and converting conversations into long-term partnerships.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the builder acquisition strategy for RAM’s Curated Collection across Houston, DFW, Austin, and San Antonio
  • Identify and convert qualified builders who align with our product and price positioning
  • Navigate builder procurement processes, rebate/incentive dynamics, and vendor qualification protocols
  • Overcome incumbent supplier relationships with clear articulation of RAM’s value proposition
  • Sell RAM’s turnkey solution (product + installation), coordinating timing with internal scheduling resources
  • Build trust with jobsite PMs and purchasing leads by providing consistent communication and on-site presence
  • Serve as the voice of the builder—bringing feedback to operations, product development, and leadership
  • Maintain internal CRM reporting and forecasting accuracy
  • Achieve first-year target of 500–1,000 qualified residential lots, translating to 1,500–3,000 panels sold
  • Travel throughout Texas 75%+ of the time (company vehicle provided)

Your Edge

If you’ve worked with production homebuilders or have experience selling windows, doors, or other building envelope products, you’ll ramp quickly and have a distinct advantage. We’ll support you with estimating, coordination, and operations—you bring the builder relationships, sales instincts, and grit to grow the program.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in outside sales, ideally in windows, doors, or fenestration systems
  • Strong preference for candidates with existing builder relationships or demonstrated success selling into production builder accounts
  • Deep understanding of builder purchasing, vendor qualification, and group rebate structures
  • Experience navigating long sales cycles (6–9 months) and construction workflows
  • Strong communication and on-site coordination skills with both builders and internal teams
  • Self-motivated, organized, persistent, and driven to close
  • CRM experience and solid pipeline reporting habits
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Texas (75%+ travel required)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $75K–$100K, depending on experience
  • Tiered, uncapped commission structure rewarding scalable performance
  • Realistic first-year earnings potential: $150K–$250K+, depending on builder volume
  • Company vehicle + reimbursed travel expenses
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Growth opportunity into account leadership or strategic sales management

What Success Looks Like

  • Builders onboarded and placing orders within 6–9 months
  • Target of 500–1,000 residential lots reached in Year 1
  • Active participation in product feedback and program refinement
  • Clear path to transitioning into farmer role or leading future account management team as volume grows
